4th Best President Ever Holidays Like a King

CBS and 60 Minutes edited out Barack’s comments, in which he believed he was the fourth best U.S. President.

“As you yourself said, Steve, I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president — with the possible exceptions of Johnson, FDR and Lincoln. You know, just in terms of what we’ve gotten done in modern history,”

On December 23rd, Obama was wearing a big grin as he signed the bill for the token two month tax holiday. Barack was smiling not because he was saving taxpayers a measly $19.23 a week. Obama was happy for his victory over the Republicans and the inevitable boost in his poll numbers. He could now turn his attention back to more important matters; which set of golf clubs he would take to Hawaii.

In this election year, optics are everything. After the Friday morning signing ceremony Obama was scheduled to make a statement in the press briefing room at 12:15PM, however true to his style, he showed up an hour and ten minutes later. Barack was air borne on Air Force One and on his way to Hawaii, less than forty minutes after he concluded his remarks.

The messaging battle over the Payroll Tax Holiday was won by the White House over misleading numbers, that the media accepted without any fact checking. Obama consistently said the average tax saving would be $1000 a year or $19.23 a week. Somehow that became “$40 a week” and for “160 million taxpayers”. The actual number of taxpayers is 137 million, no wonder the Democrats do not want to pass a budget.

The Republicans are to blame, especially in the Senate for passing the two month extension in a cowardly attempt to get home for the the holidays. The table has been flipped as Democrats appear to be “tax cutters” and the Republicans as heartless tax raisers.

Nothing could be farther from the truth and the Democrats now have a weapon in making this a renewed battle in February. It’s up to us voters to make sure they lose the election war.

This year’s Presidential Hawaii vacation is proving that Barack and Michelle live like royalty in direct contradiction of our nation’s founders, who did not want an Imperial Presidency.

First, Michelle and the girls left days earlier at a cost of over $100,000. But the kicker was a great report in the Hawaii Reporter by Malia Zimmerman, saying that this vacation will cost the taxpayers well over $4 million!

The round trip on Air Force One is over $3 million dollars, based on a $181,757 per flight hour as estimated by the U.S. Air Force. The USAF C-17 cargo aircraft that transports the Presidential limos, helicopters and other support equipment to Hawaii costs about $258,000.

The additional 7 houses for the Secret Service, Coast Guard and Navy Seals is $151,00. The 24 White House support staff staying in the elegant Moana Surfrider costs $72,216. Local Police and emergency service over time is $260,000.

The total cost (based on what is known) for a 17-day round trip vacation to Hawaii for the President and his family and staff and security is an estimated $4,113,038.

Then again “Princes” Nancy Pelosi is reportedly staying on the Big Island in a $10,000 a day suite on her annual vacation. Please remember all this when the Democrats blame Wall Street, millionaires and billionaires and sympathize with the OWS on election day, next November.

In keeping with his Kenyan royal blood lines, Obama made his 90th trip to the golf course. The 32nd this year, eclipsing the 2010 mark of 30 and is far ahead of his 2009 tally of 28 rounds as president. Keith Koffler of the White House Dossier estimates that’s about three months of golf, given that the excursions generally take about five hours – much of the useful portion of the day.

This is how our elected leader spends his time while blaming every hard working American with class warfare demagoguery and belittlement, except if you are a green job maker or a campaign contributor.

The hypocrisy stinks, we have to eat shit while President Obama and Michelle dines on Pacific Lobster. In between their gluttonous mouthfuls, they lecture us on what healthy food we must eat.

Let’s not get side tracked by their fat cat life styles, we still have a crappy economy, housing market and unemployment. I’ll give President Obama a rating of number one in how bad he has led the country.

Be careful, if the Republicans screw up any more we might have 5 more years of this.
