New York Times Smears ALL Anti-Illegal Immigration Groups

Sunday, April 17, 2011

They don’t call it the “New York Slimes” for nothing. Yet again this left-wing rag wears it’s editorial opinion on the front page. In a center three column-wide article “The Anti-Immigration Crusader”, written by Jason DeParle (more on him later) drops the “race card” and the “guilt by association” to “prove” that groups like FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform), the Center for Immigration Studies and the well know NumbersUSA are “culturally conservative Republicans who don’t like brown people.”

The trashing focuses on John Tanton and DeParle borrows liberally from a screed from the Southern Poverty Law Center where the opening sentence says, “John Tanton is the racist architect of the modern anti-immigrant movement.”

You know this organization and the Southern Poverty Law Center’s most visible spokesperson, Mark Potok, who frames their policy of social justice by blaming the right as rage-filled racists.

Jason Deparle, has written extensively on welfare and poverty for the Times and in his book. Jason’s wife, Nancy-Anne DeParle is the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy for Obama, before serving as director of the White House Office of Health Reform. These career Statists lobby for the continuation of the under class and an ever expanding role of government handouts.

The Liberal agenda is to never define a distinction between Illegal and Legal Immigration and by using this broad brush they are calling all of us White Racists.

I happen to be someone who legally immigrated to the United States and is a proud citizen. I am also strongly opposed to the flood of illegal immigration that is bankrupting our state budgets, ruining our schools and health care system. I am one of the millions of Americans who are on the front lines to stop Congress from enacting any form of amnesty.

DeParle goes to great lengths to prove that Tanton is a white supremacist and by association, Roy Beck, who leads NumbersUSA. In fact this entire article is nothing but a re-print of Potok’s crusade from the web pages of the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Guilt by association is  the weapon of choice by the Left when it wants to smear their opponents. However, the Left forbids us from doing the same with President Obama’s twenty year friendship with Reverend Jeremiah Wright, or his working relationship with Terrorists Bill Ayers and Rashid Khalidi, racist, Louis Farrakhan, and convicted felon, Tony Rezko.

The facts and the truth escape DeParle. Good Americans are fed up with Washington, big business and open border lobbyists who just want more (Democrat) voters and lower wages at the expense of every taxpayer.

Illegal Alien Immigration costs an estimated $100 billion a year. Educating the children of illegals costs about $52 billion annually and the greatest share of this burden is borne by the individual states. Arizona spends $2.5 billion a year, California over $10.5 billion, this from a 2004 report. Our jails are brimming, our schools are broken, our states are broke and our cities in ruin.

This biased article in the Times is really just the beginning of the massive White House assault and propaganda campaign for the re-election of Barack Obama. Led by David Plouffe and William Daley, with the supporting cast of David Axelrod, Robert Gibbs, Jim Messina and Jennifer O’Malley Dillon.

These Chicago-way Apparatchiks are by no means subtle, they kneecap you first and then start beating you with their progressive truncheons.

Let’s seal the border, deport the criminal aliens, make E-Verify the law and punish those that hire illegals. Let’s continue to defend the United States of America and let the insults of the Left fall to the wayside as we clean their clocks in Washington in 2012.
