Obama Gets Less Scrutinity Than “Joe The Plumber”

Friday, October 17, 2008

Barack Obama who is running for President has received less vetting than Samuel Joe Wurzelbacher — “Joe The Plumber”. The Media has given Obama a complete pass on his questionable associations, voting record and campaign promises.

On the other hand  Joe The Plumber,  a private citizen and a single father from outside of Toledo dared to question Obama whether his taxes would go up under Obama, if he bought a plumbing business that he said would bring him annual income over $250,000. Obama replied, “I think that when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

Obama’s socialist-speak reply has received very little analysis from the media. But the MSM is all over Joe — Friday’s CBS Early Show investigated Joe and reports “he owes nearly $1,200 in back taxes, is registered to vote, does not have a plumber’s license, though. And it turns out his real first name is Samuel. Joe is his middle name.”

The New York Times has checked him out as well — Joe in the Spotlight. ABC’s Nightline also headlined Joe. CNN’s David Gergen mocked Joe and said, “…I don’t understand why the McCain team didn’t vet the guy before they made such a — you know, made such a focus on him on national television.

Plumber “Joe” Wurzelbacher approached Obama on his own volition. But the left leaning Obama loving media just wants to destroy Joe for daring to question “Chairman” Obama.

It is important to note that it took the media almost a year to report on Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s radical preacher. The likes of Tony Rezko, William Ayers, Rashid Khalidi and Obama’s ties to ACORN are barely scrutinized.

If Obama wins — get ready for more of this type of Joe The Plumber pounding from the media.

Months ago I suggested that an Obama administration would be a Jimmy Carter redux — I am amending that to now say; Obama will be like Hugo Chavez in the White House!

Stupid piece of communist filth. Redistribution of wealth does not work, has never worked, and will never work. Why bother trying to succeed if it only results in penalization?
