L.A. Mayor Villar(aigosa) Berates ICE for Doing it’s Job
The sleazy, slimy Mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villar (his real name), wrote a protest letter to the Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) about the arrest and deportation of fugitive Elvira Arellano.

Here is the text of his letter:
“As this case demonstrates, Washington’s failure to enact comprehensive immigration reform has direct and profound consequences for real families.
“Until we resolve the status of the estimated 12 million undocumented people living and working in the United States by giving them some meaningful pathway to citizenship, families will continue to be torn apart. As Mayor of a city that is over 40 percent foreign-born, I can tell you: when families are torn apart, our communities are torn apart.
“As a result, there is understandable frustration in our large cities, which depend on immigrant contributions, with the federal government’s inability to enact just and necessary reform of national immigration policy.
“The manner of the arrest and deportation in this case raises concerns in our community. To begin to address those concerns, I am asking Assistant Secretary Julie Myers to brief me and local law enforcement leaders regarding her agency’s enforcement priorities and future practices in this region.”
It’s more obvious then ever that Villar is not the Mayor of ALL Los Angeles, but of Hispanic Los Angeles. Here is how LA VOZ DE AZTLAN described it.
It is imperative that the citizens of Los Angeles put an end to this city’s Sanctuary Status and NOT re-elect Villar for Mayor. Let’s end his aspirations of running for Governor of California as well. We need a Mayor who repects and enforces Federal Immigration Law. We need a Mayor who believes in America — not Mexico.

What the good Mayor fails to realize is that “just” reform of the immigration system would mean the laws of the land are obeyed. Why reform a system that illegal aliens ignore anyway. It makes no difference. Except, the reforms they are pushing for would “legalize” the illegals.
What they want are laws that grant them amnesty for the laws they have already broken. Immigration reforms they want may happen. I hope not. But even if they do, such reforms cannot or should not pardon those who have falsely used a forged or stolen SS number, or who are double dippers w/ Many using the same number. To reform the immigration system is one thing. To pardon those who sneaked in is another. BUT, to pardon felonies like false, forged, stolen, or multiple use of SS, is another altogether.
If the Dem’s want to forgive those who sneaked in we may not be able to stop them. But if they also demand we pardon the felonious use of SS, then I think we have a real problem. It means the Dem’s want any laws that stop them to be ignored or passed over, but all laws against their opponents to be vigorously enforced.
Typical socialism. One law for those in favor, and another for those out of favor.
Apparently the word “illegal” has no meaning to these people or the politicians supporting them and I’m afraid it’s not just the dems. I see that there is no mention of how Mexico deals with illegals that sneak into that country.
What’s really sad is the creation of a class of people that are nothing more than cheap labor. Shows how much the politicians, esp the party of compassion that declares it’s the party of the people really cares about them. Let them be used, and screw the American citizens in the process, just as long as they get votes.
But then the Dems voted against slavery being done away with back in the good old days and let’s not forget the Civil Rights movement that the Dems weren’t so hot on either.
Maybe these people don’t care if they’re used as long as they get everything handed to them. But I imagine those whose SS numbers are stolen care.
I really hope for LA’s sake that Villar is not reelected.
If these persons wish to be Mexicans, fine. Let them go to Mexico. There are proper legal avenues of immigration, use them if you wish to be an American. Anybody ever read the immigration laws for becoming Mexican from elsewhere?
It’s crazy how Mexicans like Villaraigosa blame this on Washington’s failure to pass immigration reform. What they really mean is: You didn’t give my people amnesty!
