Zawahiri Laughs at Democrats “Surrender Bill”
An interviewer asks Ayman al-Zawahiri: “The American Congress recently passed a bill which ties the funding of American forces in Iraq and Afghanistan to a timetable for the withdrawal of American forces from Iraq which ends next March. What is your comment on this resolution?”
Zawahiri says: “This bill reflects American failure and frustration. However, this bill will deprive us of the opportunity to destroy the American forces which we have caught in a historic trap. We ask Allah that they only get out of it after losing two hundred to three hundred thousand killed, in order that we give the spillers of blood in Washington and Europe an unforgettable lesson which will motivate them to review their entire doctrinal and moral system which produced their historic criminal Crusader/Zionist entity.”
We can thank the Democrats, led by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid for the excellent propaganda they have delivered to al Queda and terrorists world-wide. The Democrats have proven that they are the anti-war party, but this stance is not for the nation’s higher good — it’s only to win the next election — and the selfish objectives of George Soros.
An article in this Sunday’s New York Times, “Antiwar Groups Use New Clout To Influence Democrats on Iraq” demonstrates that these well organized groups are mostly funded by George Soros’s MoveOn.org.
“Behind the scenes, an elaborate political operation, organized by a coalition of antiwar groups and fine-tuned to wrestle members of Congress into place one by one, has helped nudge the debate forward.”
“On Thursday, leaders of the liberal group MoveOn.org, including Tom Matzzie, the group’s Washington director who also serves as the campaign manager for the coalition, sent a harshly worded warning to the Democratic leadership.
“In the past few days, we have seen what appear to be trial balloons signaling a significant weakening of the Democratic position,” the letter read. “On this, we want to be perfectly clear: if Democrats appear to capitulate to Bush — passing a bill without measures to end the war — the unity Democrats have enjoyed and Democratic leadership has so expertly built, will immediately disappear.”
This is why Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards and John Murtha are all dancing to the same tune — they are not writing the legislation, instead they are just parroting the talking points of “Americans Against Escalation in Iraq”.
“Rodell Mollineau, a spokesman for Mr. Reid’s office, said the coalition amplifies what Democrats are trying to do in Washington to end the war.”
“It helps us reverberate a unified message outside the Beltway,” he said. “These groups give voice to a message we’re trying to get outside.”
“The principle under which we’ve been operating is more like a political campaign,” Mr. Matzzie said. “The central strategy is creating that toxic environment for people who want to continue this debacle.”
The real debacle is how the Democrats are so willing to throw national security overboard for the sake of the misguided lunatic left.

Hell! every one but the left laughs at the Democraps.
Unfortunately, jainphx, those miserable traitors are in control. Between the demoncraps and the rino contingent, we’re in pretty bad shape. We have JUST enough true conservatives in DC to slow the libs attempt to destroy America. If they stay in power much longer(I’m just praying we can last until the next election), we are well and truly done as a nation. Jimmy Peanut, one of their god figures, said America was done when he was POTUS. We elected Reagan, we got better. Bush 1 had a few hiccups, but we stayed okay. Slick Willie took over, taxes, etc, lies out the rear, and “double entry book keeping”. Seemed okay until an honest man took office and went over the books. Courtesy of Bush 2, we have more home ownership, lower taxes, and despite a war we’re STILL getting our national debt straight! Mind you, HIS border control sucks. We need FRED ’08!
