Starbucks Fix via Text Message
I travel all over the place, especially in Los Angeles with film locations in every part of the county. I also travel a fair bit throughout north America.
When I start my day I usually want my Starbucks fix. OK it’s not the best tasting cappuccino – but they are everywhere, efficient and fast. Once I’m on the film set, I am trapped for a long spell and often don’t know where the closest Starbucks is.
I found the latest, greatest solution – just send a text message to the following number: 697289 (“MYSBUX”) and simply enter the local zip code. Within moments you will receive text messages back with the addresses of the three nearest Starbucks locations.
I tried it in several different cities over the last few days – I got my fix and the shooting days were a breeze.
