It’s because Democrats care more about themselves than the U.S. citizens they serve. Which brings me to Barack Obama. Obama is just like all the afore mentioned – he is a self centered, arrogant, conniving politician, who will say and do anything to get himself elected.

Obama is part of the the pond scum that floats on the surface of a polluted Democratic party.

John Edwards tried to hide and lie his way out of his extra marital affair with Rielle Hunter, while running for President. Just think we could have elected this scum bag to the White House?

I’m not saying that Obama is screwing around on Michelle — but I am saying he is screwing around with the American voters. He just doesn’t think this country is good enough — he told a 7 year old that he wants America to”be better”.

“America is, is no longer, uh, what it could be, what it, it once was,” Obama said, “And I say to myself, I don’t want that future for my children.”

Does Barack Obama and for that matter Michelle Obama love anything about the U.S.A. besides themselves?

Obama has such a negative view of our country and it’s citizens. Of course he believes that by electing him President — he will then fix it all in his own image.

Just remember the old computer axiom: Garbage In, Garbage Out.

“When Mom and Dad Share It All” — The article’s author Lisa Belkin attempts to make it a study of how well Mothers and Fathers share the parenting duties. She gives examples of couples who have elaborate charts of parenting duties and how Fathers try to share the load.

But according to her the couples who do the best job of co-parenting are Lesbians.

“Heterosexual couples can learn from gay couples about sharing housework and child care,” says Esther D. Rothblum, a professor in the women’s studies department of San Diego State University whose comparative study of the relationships of 342 couples — lesbian, gay, heterosexual — was published in the journal Developmental Psychology in January. “They are good role models.”

Like I said, Fathers are just not needed in 2008. Just look at the number of women who are deciding to have children and raise them on their own. The CDC reports that 40% percent of births were to unwed mothers. …And Baby Makes Two

The media has glamorized the lives of Hollywood actresses with unwed pregnancies like Jamie-Lynn Spears, Jamie Pressly, Angelina Jolie, Selma Hayek and Halle Berry.

Television has it’s share of “Idiot Fathers”; Al Bundy of “Married With Children”, Homer Simpson of “The Simpsons”, Archie Bunker of “All In The Family”.

You can also blame the Women’s Liberation movement of the late 60′s.

Lisa Belkin throws another dart at Dads by saying,

“Where the housework ratio is two to one, the wife-to-husband ratio for child care in the United States is close to five to one.
“The most striking part,” Blair says, “is that none of this is all that different, in terms of ratio, from 90 years ago.”
Back when women had to tend fires to cook and put clothes through the wringer and then onto the clothesline, they spent 50 hours a week on housework and men spent 20. (A ratio of 2.5 to 1.) And back in the 1950s, when no one was even bothering to measure how many hours men spent on child care because it was thought to be negligible, the average mother spent 12 to 15 hours caring for her children — the same as they spend today.”

Okay, points for trying to share the load of household chores and the duties of caring for the child. Mothers need a break — but let’s not minimize what Fathers represent to a child’s development.

Michael Lamb is one of the world’s foremost researchers on fatherhood. His book, “The Role of the Father in Child Development” brings together the world’s best investigators in the field.

In a nutshell he says the effects of father absence are:
psychological maladjustment
academic / school under-performance
antisocial behaviour
difficulty establishing and continuing intimate relationships

“On average, children raised without fathers are more likely to show signs of psychological maladjustment, they are more likely to have difficulties at school, difficulty in getting even to underperform, or to drop out of school early, to have less school completed. They are more likely to be represented in the statistics on delinquency and unconventional social behaviour, and they seem to have difficulty establishing and maintaining intimate relationships, particularly heterosexual relationships once they move into adulthood.”

I am a Father and anyone who tries to minimize my importance in my children’s lives better take a big step back!

I have two male friends that have bucked the trend and raised their daughters solely on their own while juggling careers. They’ve done amazing jobs in a world that really doesn’t value men raising children single handed. I applaud them, I respect them and I’m a little jealous.

Those two Dads have raised great kids who will reflect their Father’s values all their lives.

So hats off to all the Fathers in the world and Happy Father’s Day!

While Obama states that the Democratic race for the nomination will be decided (in his favor) in six days — he keeps racking up a long list of endorsements from terrorists, lunatics and racists.

Obama’s campaign keeps trying to negate them — but the message here is undeniable — if elected the terrorist states will be celebrating his victory.

Barack Obama will be a Jimmy Carter redux — it will seem like we’ve time travelled back to 1977.

Fidel Castro, wrote in a column for Cuba’s Granma newspaper Monday that Obama is “the most progressive candidate to the U.S. presidency.”

In mid-April, Hamas adviser Ahmed Yousef told WorldNetDaily that “We like Mr. Obama, and we hope that he will win the elections.

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Spain’s El Pais newspaper he didn’t believe Obama would be elected, but that he wouldn’t have a problem meeting with him if he were.

Also the positive words from the New Black Panther Party and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

On March 25, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez told foreign correspondents that relations with Washington, D.C, would worsen if McCain were elected. So I guess he’s endorsing Obama too.

It’s very clear that Obama is a left-wing elitist candidate and America will wake sometime after January 2009 with a very bad case of voter-remorse. Wasn’t one Jimmy Carter enough?

On March 18th in Barack’s speech on race he emphaticly said: “I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother…”

While the Wright speeches were being endlessly quoted and viewed, Barack publicly postured that he never heard these words before. Obama often called Jeremiah Wright his “mentor”, “spiritual adviser” and “surrogate father”.

But that all changed after Reverend Wright’s speaking engagements; two sermons at the Friendship-West Baptist Church, in Dallas, the NAACP Dinner in Detroit and Monday in front of the National Press Club in Washington.

All of those appearances were broadcast repeatedly and it showed that Reverend Wright is as divisive and hateful as those “snippets” of his sermons that were seen as Barack said, “in endless loops”.

Suddenly, Obama has a dose of poll-driven leadership — it’s really the first time in his campaign he’s taken a strong stand.

“What we saw yesterday out of Reverend Wright was a resurfacing and, I believe, an exploitation of those old divisions. Whatever his intentions, that was the result. It is antithetical to our campaign. It is antithetical to what I am about. It is not what I think American stands for.

And I want to be very clear that moving forward, Reverend Wright does not speak for me. He does not speak for our campaign. I cannot prevent him from continuing to make these outrageous remarks.” (Full transcript here)

As the campaign progresses, Barack Obama proves himself to be just a typical politician. He’s spun his tale of defense of Wright as far as he could and now that it’s really affecting his campaign — it’s time to throw the Reverend under the bus. Of course he did that first to his grandmother, but that was 6 weeks ago.

What this really shows is that Obama lacks the conviction and backbone of true leadership. He’s stalled making the hard but correct choices his whole career — to finally do it today, is just too little too late.

Did Obama’s Campaign Kibosh Rev. Wright’s Sermon Tour?

The heat is rising and the rumors are even hotter. Mirthala Salinas was put on leave from here newscaster role at Telemundo while they “investigate” her breach of reporter ethics.

Now there are reports that the “leak” of the Mayor Villar – Salinas affair was actually from Mirthala herself. According to the rumors, Mirthala was really pissed because Antonio has already moved on to a new relationship with Sabrina Kay. Kay is a fashion designer who is also serving as a commissioner of the Los Angeles City Planning Commission. You can get the inside dirt here.

Saturday’s Los Angeles Times says the Mayor will come out of the shadows, “The mayor’s aides, anxious to jettison the controversy and repair the mayor’s image, plan a blitzkrieg of appearances and announcements in the coming weeks to show that Villaraigosa is focused on his job. Starting Monday, the mayor will pay special attention to education, emphasizing his efforts to improve the Los Angeles public schools, and announce a program to fill 350,000 potholes over the next year.”

Is the Mayor of Los Angeles a player or what? This guy doesn’t care a bit about the citizens of L.A., or even his children — just himself. The people of L.A. can be real proud of electing this asshole as Mayor — now we can bask in ALL his love.
