Twice today the Democrats sounded the Buglers Retreat by stating that it is the President’s War – not the nations’, nor the Democrats’. What hypocrites and turn coats to brush off the lives of the soldiers fighting in Iraq and lie to the voters that they bear no responsibility.

Your vaunted Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi told Diane Sawyer, “Democrats will never cut off funding for our troops when they are in harm’s way. But we will hold the president accountable; he has to answer for his war. He has dug a hole so deep he can’t even see the light on this; it’s a tragedy, it’s a historic blunder.”

Then Harry Reid the Senate Majority Leader also labeled the war on Iraq as the “President’s war”. I remind all of you that these same Democrats who voted FOR the war and kept demanding that we send MORE troops are now saying the opposite and can offer NO PLAN OF THEIR OWN.

Pelosi, Reid and the rest of her party have abandoned the troops, just like they did during the Viet Nam war. They have politicized this war and put lives at risk by playing into the hands of the islamo-facists. I am shocked and bitterly disappointed by their actions. Every Democratic Presidential hopeful is finding new ways to say surrender — just to save their sorry asses and get elected as President in ’08.

I used to be a registered Democrat — I know why I changed party affiliation to Republican and am I glad I did. With the Democrats leading the way it won’t be too long before we see a mushroom cloud in an American city — just like TV’s “24″.
