Live shots from Hawaii are focused on the beaches anticipating the “killer wave” as if we are waiting for the launch of the shuttle. The islands of Hawaii practice monthly Tsunami warnings with ear piercing sirens. Right now as the wave approaches the sirens are going off every ten minutes.

The dumb-speak from these television anchors is really the fault of the live desk news producers who have no clue of which experts to get on air to give us some real science and truthful reporting.

Joy Behar and Alec Baldwin on CNN's Larry King Live

Perfect, two left wing nuts who have dim witted views of this country and the world. Listening to them was like eavesdropping on two drunks in a bar. Lot’s of babble, superfluous conversation about nothing. You have to hold yourself back from turning to them and calling them idiots.

But Behar and Baldwin like all of those on the hard left think they have helped to save the world by electing Obama. Blah, blah, blah.

We will see if the chosen one can really lead us up or down. Baldwin and Behar so clouded in their empty words will never ever see the truth.

Thankfully I could reach for the remote and turn them off. America was safe once again.

I think the most galvanizing moment of 2006 was the execution of Saddam Hussein. It was the story of all the media, but most importantly it was the most popular search item on the Internet. This blog alone attracted over 75,000 views of my post, CNN Vows Discretion with Saddam Execution Video — But Has No Problem Showing U.S. Soldiers Being Killed.

To me the most revealing stat was the number of comments, 212 and still growing. They are a testament to our democracy and the right to freedom of speech. Those that commented were from Canada, the U.K, Pakistan and India, but the majority were Americans and the debate was fiery. The central issue was the war in Iraq and the blame game.

However, no matter how it was stated — the majority of opinions expressed were a result of the influence of the media’s spin. Apart from the Internet, most of our view of the world comes from the MSM.

CNN, along with the New York Times rank at the top with their incessant anti-war stance. CNN’s Situation Room, hosted by Wolf Blitzer, jumped all over the 3000 U.S. soldier KIA mark in Iraq. But the most sensational was yet to come with good ‘ol Anderson Cooper 360. The announcer over the theme music intoned, “3000 lives, 3000 stories. Only one question left – how to redeem their sacrifice.”

Standing in front of huge graphic “Grim Milestone 3000+ DEAD” — Anderson said, “A terrible milestone on this the first day of the year…..” The piece led with whether the death of Saddam was worth the loss of 3000 lives — a cheap shot and a disgraceful way to honor the bravery of these fine soldiers. Of-course this “news” item was used to seg-way into a promo for Cooper’s next slam on Tuesday evening; “AMBUSH at the River of Secrets“. A one hour special on the loss of Jonathan Bowling, Karl Linn, Chris Weaver and Jesse Strong of the 4th Combat Engineer Battalion, Charlie Company of Lynchburg, VA, on January 26th, 2005 in Haqlaniyah (near Haditha).

This is unbelievable ! I have watched Anderson Cooper on CNN twice in the last hour explain to viewers that they will use all means possible to not shock their audience with gruesome execution video of Saddam Hussein. CNN has the audacity to say this while simultaneously showing file footage of the dead bodies of gassed Kurds.

CNN is responsible for showing terrorist propaganda video from Iraqi insurgents of snipers killing U.S. Soldiers — No moral claim here! To further this hypocrisy they also have this stuff available for viewing at their “CNN On Demand” web site!

CNN is broadcasting for the enemy directly into American homes. Anderson Cooper even had the gall to state to the Iraqi Deputy Ambassador to the U.N. that his government was a “puppet government” set up by the United States. Earlier commentator Jon Alterman said that the trial and execution of Saddam was entirely run by the U.S. Military and the Bush administration! Outrageous!

Someone please fire a missile down the air-shaft of the CNN headquarters in Atlanta right now and stop “Baghdad Cooper” once and for all!

The most bizarre moments were when both Fox and CNN were talking about the difference in potential pain between lethal injection and hanging. CNN even had a “show and tell” demonstration with their reporter Randi Kaye and forensic specialist Dr. Lawrence Kobilinsky, complete with a medical torso model and a noose!

There was tons of bad reporting and misinformation mixed in with information and a dab of the macabre. It kind of felt like I was in the middle of the French Revolution watching the angry crowds crying for blood — but in this case is was newscasters.

Of course we had to hear from those in the Human Rights Watch and the anti-death penalty crowd who condemned the killing of the condemned “Butcher of Baghdad” — who was responsible for the brutal murder of millions.

Thankfully Saddam will be dead and heading straight to Hell by the time you read this. It should have been much quicker.

“Lawmakers are remembering former Congressman, Gary Studds. The first openly Gay member of Congress. He’s known for his work with the environment and human rights. Studds died this morning at a Boston Hospital, he was 59. Doctors say that the Massachusetts Democrat died of a blood clot.”

Known for his work with the environment and human rights! That’s it — outrageous! What about his admitted sexual relationship in 1983 with a 17 year old male page? Studds turned his back on his colleagues in protest as his censure was read in Congress. He felt he did nothing wrong in having the “consensual” relationship and was re-elected five more times.

Gary Studds was a sexual predator who took advantage of the young page and refused to resign. Mark Foley exchanged sexually explicit instant messages with a page and resigned.

Obviously the Democrats have a different moral standard then the Republicans. Remember Ted Kennedy and Chappaquiddick, Barney Frank and male prostitution and oh yes, Bill Clinton with Monica Lewinsky.

Yup those Democrats really know how to judge moral standards. CNN and MSNBC and the rest of the MSM applaud Studds’ congressional record, pillar Foley’s and bury the truth.
