I was asking for specific examples of extreme leftists taking away our rights. Cuz, I mean, from what I know about history it’s mostly been the conservatives — although taking any policy too far could lead to totalitarianism, I suppose.

I didn’t know there were history books focusing specifically on politics. I’ll have to check that out. You’re right, the history textbooks we get do kind of suck.

If you are being honest about your age then I will assume that you are still in school and attending history classes of some sort, depending on the curriculum of the school. If this is indeed the case then I would suggest that you look elsewhere for political history books to read in addition to the school textbooks. I’ve found school textbooks to be somewhat factually lacking whenever I help my grandson with his homework.

BTW I came back to inquire if your comment to me was only rhetorical. I do have better ways to spend my time than to respond to rhetoric.
