You’re all pissy because you had your way for eight years and the result is that you’ve brought this country to the brink of collapse. Now the people have had enough and all you have to offer is John McCain, holding a party line that no one cares to hear anymore. You’re going to lose big this year, not because the press is stacking the deck against you, but because you’ve proved yourselves to be both inept and morally bankrupt.

As a centrist independant, who often votes Republican, I can tell you that the only future the GOP has is to re-group, repudiate the neo-conservatives, and bring the party back to the center. We look to the GOP for restraint and pragmatism to balance the left-wing excesses of the Demcrats. There’s nothing wrong with conservatism, just as there’s nothing wrong with liberalism. Both viewpoints have balance. But just as the Democrats went too far to the left in the 1970s, the GOP has moved too far to the right. Pluralism has become polarism and it isn’t working. So stop blaming the media and clean out your own closet.
