First, there is the well known Bradley effect. We don’t know if any poll involving Obama is legit, and second the general is months away. The only polls that matter are the ones where people actually voted, and he got crushed in the last one.

That said, I disagree. I thought he did fairly well yesterday, however I thought that Wallace should have challenged him more.
