The whole thing is just wrong and they know it. We are tired of their so called feel good legislation. They are out of touch with the voters and reality. It is time to replace them all. Maybe then the newly elected would listen. It is now time for the voters to stand up and be counted. Stop putting these same incompetants back in office so they can continue the same silly nonsense. Why do we continue to take it. Enforce the existing laws. Stop wasting the tax payers time and money with new laws that still won’t work and of course also won’t be enforced.

It is unbelievable that my senators; Dem McCaskill votes no and Bond votes yes for cloture.
It’s political grandstanding and arrogance at it’s worst.

Good question, Mandy. One I’ve been asking as well. I think the answer is… they don’t give a tinker’s damn because it more than likely won’t affect them directly.

No one has talked about the heath risks of illegal aliens. Why is there no provision for a health check in this bill especially in light of the fact that so many of them work in the food industry? Haven’t you heard about all the meat processing plants where the majority of workers, illegal aliens all, had tuberculosis? What are you people doing to protect the US public? Why isn’t a health check an issue of the bill? When my grandparents came to this country they had to undergo a health check at Ellis Island – so why do the illegal aliens of today get a pass?

So while America is sending our men and women to die for the freedom of the people of other nations to express their will through a fair government, our Senate is ignoring the expressed will of the majority of legal citizens of the United States. Ironic.

As a native Californian, I know firsthand the impact of illegal immigrants on the school, medical, social, and housing systems. Amnesty is not the answer. A system was not iniated after the last amnesty…and the number of illegals increased astrononmically. What is next? Completely eliminate legal immigration???

They are NOT listening to the people. Yes, they pay lip service. Nothing more. At least the MT Senators (both Democrats) are still in opposition to the bill even though it has been issued a new title. Small consolation at this point. I dunno. I thought our Senators and Representatives were supposed to uphold the Constitution and represent their constituents. Silly me.
