It is no coincidence, as suggested in the doc, that we have started to study climate at a point when it was already rising (therefore we have a bad experiment going). Civilization always takes-off during periods of global warming, and therefore, advanced science always comes towards a peak. As does population levels, along with food production. These are all interdepedent cycles.
