He said nothing about meaningful policy. His health insurance proposal is going nowhere. The only way Republicans deal with that issue is through tax-credits. It is time for a national health program. His “civilian reserve corps” what a joke.

His address was pleasant, polite, but not policy innovative. His Presidency, do to the Iraq War, can never again inspire Americans to great challenges. His Presdiency will be remembered for squandering the first decade of a new century that held so much promise for American’s future.

After eight years of Clinton, and eights of Bush, Americans need a social and economic mooring and the crop of potential candidate look woefully inadquate.
